The Legal Secretary will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of the office. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing administrative support to lawyers, including preparing legal documents, drafting correspondence, and managing client communication.
  • Overseeing office operations, including reception duties, scheduling meetings, and ensuring smooth day-to-day activities.
  • Proactively managing deadlines and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Assisting with translations, particularly between Dutch, French, and English.
  • Helping plan and execute internal and external events.
  • Fostering a collaborative team environment, offering support to team members, and promoting a positive team spirit.
  • Conducting regular visits to the library for research purposes and maintaining relevant documentation.
  • Developing and formatting presentations using MS Office tools, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Coordinating the setup of new office spaces for an upcoming team expansion, including liaising with stakeholders and overseeing logistical arrangements.

  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a small team environment.

  • Capability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Willingness to actively participate in team discussions and meetings.
