Together, we shape the evolution.The OpportunityWe are seeking a Communication Consultant to join our dynamic international team in Brussels, where you will take ownership of Worldline Belgium's comprehensive communication strategy. This role offers the unique opportunity to work directly with local top management whilst being part of a global communications network, driving both internal and external communications to elevate our brand presence and support business growth across the Belgian market.Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Lead external communication initiatives in Belgium including PR and media relations to enhance brand awareness, positioning, and crisis/reputation management whilst supporting business growth objectives; be comfortable with media and able to serve as the local spokesperson for first-line media inquiries
  • Develop and execute internal communication strategies to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with company goals and developments
  • Provide strategic consulting and advisory services to the local management team on all corporate communication matters
  • Serve as the primary interface between local leadership and international corporate communication teams for seamless coordination
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, stakeholders, and industry influencers in the Belgian market

  • A degree in marketing, communication, or journalism with a strong foundation in strategic communications
  • Proven successful experience managing press and public relations specifically within the finance, banking, or payment sectors
  • As the payment sector is part of a complex ecosystem, experience within the payments sector, or the ability to learn quickly and translate complex theories into understandable language would be an asset
  • Experience in managing external suppliers (press- and/or event agencies) is required in this role
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives across multiple channels
  • Autonomous and independent working style with a results-oriented mindset and strong team-player approach and genuine passion for tackling new challenges
  • Native Dutch speaker with excellent command of French and knowledge of English to effectively communicate across our diverse Belgian market and engage with international colleagues
  • Experience in working with senior executives and thriving in international company environments would be highly valued
