We currently have a vacancy for an Application/Cloud Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks
Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers;
Production of software architecture documents;
Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users;
Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting;
Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture;
Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud;
Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components.
Requirements
University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
At least 2 years of experience in C# development using modern .NET Framework;
At least 2 years of experience in REST APIs development;
At least 2 years of experience in Blazor (or similar technologies) development;
At least 2 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL development;
Experience with DevOps practices and development in a collaborative environment using GitLab;
Good knowledge of SharePoint, JIRA, ServiceNow, Outlook;
Good knowledge of event-driven application principles (Apache Kafka, MassTransit);
Good knowledge of integrating and consuming cloud services, especially from AWS;
Knowledge of web technologies (e.g. JavaScript, Angular, React) would be an asset;
Excellent command of the English language.
