Make your mark for patientsWe are looking for a NPI Supply Specialist to join us in our Internal Manufacturing organization based in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.About the role:As NPI Supply Specialist you will:
  • Guarantee the respect of life cycle management (LCM) Process
  • Manage projects related to the introduction of new drug product or process
  • Coordinate Phase in/Phase out of new SKU within BTO in collaboration with stakeholder through Weekly meeting
  • Work upstream with Purchasing team on future suppliers selection and potential cost reduction
  • Collaborate with suppliers, production and QA supply to ensure raw material deliveries for new product on time.
  • Cooperate with Planning team to optimize the scheduling of qualification and validation slots
  • Follow up raw material supply for DEV department (PO, investigation…)
  • Manage inventories of components and finished development products
The position is based in the UCB laboratories and offices at the Braine-l’Alleud campusWhat you will do:As NPI Supply Specialist, you will support launch activities to reach first commercial batches on time based on consolidated data (Forecast, scenario, safety stock):
  • Supplier readiness
  • Participate to supplier selection with global procurement
  • Ensure supplier readiness for fast track printing process
  • Ensure non printed component supply
  • Prepare launch productions
  • Ensure BTO readiness for main markets (First EU countries, US, JP)
  • Report to global supply chain launch team on BTO activities
  • Follow up on artwork approval, order and release for production
Transfer activities to supply coordinators after the first launches and support when acceleration is requested.You will collaborate with Braine Technical Operation and development teams to prepare product submission, equipment qualification, process validation…
  • For new product and life cycle management
  • Code creation coordination up to desactivation and destruction (if needed)
  • Consolidate project needs for development studies (shipping qualifaction, stability…) and testing activities (qualification, validation, QC needs…)(drug product, components)
  • Follow up on orders reception and release
  • Follow up on stocks level
  • Integrate development studies into the scheduling
  • Manage transfers of finished products
  • Business securisation and sustainibility
  • dual sourcing projects (supplier and/or material)
  • adaptation to rare disease volume
For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
  • You have a Master’s degree
  • You have 3 or more years related professional experience ideally gained within the pharmaceutical industry across various disciplines
  • You have a broad understanding of supply chain
  • You are able to manage project in transversal mode as well as priorities
  • You are able to understand Procurement (negociation skills, Replenishement models, …)
  • You have strong IT skills : SAP (MM, SD, PP-PI, WM, BI), reporting & offices tools.
  • You have a hands on mentality and ability to propose solutions
  • You have proven communication & stakeholder management skill to work with cross-functional teams
  • You have change management skills and are flexible
  • You are able to engage with various departements and levels into the organisation
  • You are fluent (reading, writing and speaking) in French and English
