If so, our client invites you to embark on this exciting journey with them.Key Responsibilities:- Ensure independence and prevent conflicts of interest.- Maintain and update compliance monitoring plans, conduct regular checks, and controls.- Review and update the Compliance Charter.- Facilitate annual risk assessments and provide senior management with recommendations.- Monitor compliance obligations, draft, create, and update legal and compliance procedures.- Manage action plans in response to audit findings and compliance violations.- Educate employees on regulations, especially in AML/CFT and professional ethics.- Resolve employee concerns regarding legal compliance.- Manage approval requests for high-risk accounts.- Implement a proactive ML/TF risk management program.- Act as the Single Point of Contact for compliance-related queries.- Anticipate compliance risks and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.- Provide ongoing employee training on ABC and compliance matters.- Collaborate with stakeholders to adapt norms and standards, and provide training.- Prepare and present compliance reports for diverse committees.- Implement and monitor data protection policies with the support of the local DPO.Education and Experience:- Master's Degree in Finance or Business.- Master's Degree in Belgian Law.- Strong background in EU and Belgian Law, with expertise in corporate/governance law, data protection, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.- Knowledge or experience in Luxembourg financial and regulatory matters is a plus.Soft Skills:- Analytical and problem-solving skills.- Organizational and IT skills.- Discretion with confidential information.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Proactive and team-oriented.- Solution-minded, autonomous, and flexible.- Interest in evolving legal and regulatory requirements in the FinTech world.Language(s)/Communication Skills:- Professional proficiency in French and English.Offer:- Join an inspiring FinTech team challenging established norms.- Fast personal development opportunities with significant responsibilities.- People-oriented culture with a flexible working environment and work-from-home policy.- Enjoy Fridays' Happy Hours with foosball and Belgian beers while fostering your passion for your job and sharing expertise.
