Become an integral part of a market-leading team, managing a diverse portfolio that includes Professional Indemnity, D&O, and Crime exposures across the Belgian and Luxembourg markets.
Collaborate closely with fellow team members and internal stakeholders to implement strategy, ensuring a profitable portfolio while identifying growth opportunities specifically in D&O coverage.
Contribute to achieving financial and operational targets for Financial Lines team, delivering essential reporting and data analysis as requested by management.
Enhance AIG’s visibility and strengthen relationships in the local market by participating in external presentations, training sessions, and meetings focused on D&O and related topics in Luxembourg and Belgium.
Independently manage prestigious accounts in the SME sector as well as major accounts, providing exceptional service to AIG clients through technology-driven solutions tailored for D&O needs.
Engage in a culture of continuous learning, utilizing various opportunities to deepen your expertise in D&O insurance and other Financial Lines products while supporting your colleagues.
Drive growth by analyzing risks, issuing quotes, and underwriting assigned risks within the Financial Institutions sector, while collaborating with the team to develop innovative D&O products and facilitate cross-selling opportunities.
Adhere to compliance and underwriting guidelines, setting a standard for excellence in D&O underwriting and promoting best practices across the team.
What We’re Looking For:
Master’s degree in (Applied) Economics, Law, or equivalent experience.
A client-oriented mindset with a strong focus on service quality and delivering results the first time.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex D&O insurance scenarios.
A courteous, empathetic, and helpful attitude when dealing with both external and internal clients.
Capability to foster a positive and productive team environment.
Resilience in a fast-paced work setting, managing stress effectively.
Fluency in Dutch, French, and English.
An affinity for technology and a willingness to embrace new tools and solutions in the underwriting process.
