If you share our values of respect, innovation, and collaboration, join us.PositionKey responsibilities· Offer legal guidance and advice to the ECF's HR team on a wide range of employment law issues, including but not limited to recruitment, contracts, employee relations, performance management, and terminations.· Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to assess the impact of local labor laws and regulations on HR policies and practices in different countries.· Review and draft employment contracts, policies, handbooks, and other HR-related documents to ensure compliance with local legal requirements and organizational standards.· Collaborate closely with regional teams to address legal concerns and provide tailored solutions that align with local laws and cultural considerations.· Stay updated on changes in employment regulation and legislation across various jurisdictions and advise on potential implications for HR practices and policies.· Assist in the resolution of employment disputes and claims, as necessary.· Develop and deliver training sessions on HR-related legal topics to HR professionals and other relevant staff members.· Coordinate with external legal counsels and manage relationships with legal service providers as needed.RequirementsExperience and competencies· Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in practicing law, with a focus on employment law or HR-related legal matters.· Strong understanding of international employment laws and regulations.· Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.· Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.· Previous experience working in the non-profit sector or with international organizations is a plus.Other informationWhat we offerThe unique opportunity to work as part of a highly dynamic, purpose driven, international team who combine their passion to make a difference with a rigorous and results-oriented approach to work;A flexible work environment and a space to develop and challenge yourself.We hire people with exceptional talents, abilities and potential, then create an environment where you can become the best version of yourself and thrive both professionally and personally.We are committed to creating an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity and strives to be a Great Place to Work for All.
