- Own and progress opportunities through the qualification, definition, proof/evaluation, proposal, and closure stages of the sales cycle with attention to timelines.
- Respond to the functional and business requirements and capabilities sections of RFI/RFPs
- Engage with the sales representative and prospects to analyze business requirements and compose, validate, and present the best possible solution.
- Lead teams of Systems Engineers to define and implement POC/POV’s and custom demos. Ensure the demonstration fulfills the prospect’s requirements and highlight and differentiate our capabilities.
- Establish trusted relationships with customers and prospects and understand their objectives by participating in meetings and conferences with customers and partners.
- Collaborate with Product Management to create early-stage materials (presentations, white papers, success stories, marketing content) highlighting Software AG's capabilities.
- Maintain alignment with Marketing and Product Management for existing and future platform capabilities, contributing to product innovation.
- Advise internal senior management on technical and business strategies within active deals.
- Collect and communicate competitive intelligence from the field.
- Serve as a Go-To Person for competitive information regarding Products and Verticals.
- Guide Solution Architects and SEs in technical and business situations to enhance their effectiveness in handling objections and customer challenges
- Integration Experience with a wide range of applications & SaaS (e.g. ERP, CRM, Salesforce, Adobe, SAP, ServiceNow, Snowflake).
- 4+ years practical architecture and design with Integration, B2B & API technologies.
- Knowledge of integration frameworks like open-source products (e.g. Apache products, Camel, ActiveMQ, Kafka).
- Competency in various languages (e.g. Java, C/C++, Node.js, Python, R, Swift, .NET) and knowledge of J2EE.
- Experience with Business Infrastructure concepts and technologies (API, SOA, Microservices, ESB, SOAP/REST, Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare, Azure, GCP, AWS)
- Strong knowledge of application or solution design and implementation, testing, CI/CD, DevOps, integration patterns, architecture practices and principles, networks, and infrastructure concepts.
- 3+ years in Consulting management role including, business development, mentoring, technology solutions development and relationship management.
- Understanding of business application landscapes, cloud architectures and distributed computing.
- Proven track record in handling multiple customers/opportunities and with senior leaders (CxO & Director level) on various solutions and business problems and driving the opportunities to a successful sales closure adhering to deadlines.
- Able to listen and analyze a prospect’s requirements and present a compelling business value message of a solution.
- Experience developing and presenting clear and concise product briefings.
- Ability to lead and guide Discovery and Customer First Assessment Meetings to identify business value and ROI for complex business challenges.
- Expert in providing best practices to customers and helping with IT Strategy and implementation planning – capacity, servers, deployment etc.
- Fluent in English and French/Flemish language
- BS Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering.
- Knowledge on other vendors integration (e.g. IBM webSphere, Mulesoft, WS2O, Boomi, Azure LogicApps, Tibco, Oracle Middleware, Biztalk).
