The roleWe are seeking an ambitious Junior Accountant to join our team and provide essential support to our Finance Department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks for various Rydoo Group companies. As a valued member of our Finance Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring order and transparency in Rydoo's financial operations. Your contributions will directly contribute to the efficient functioning of the department as a whole.ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a proactive Junior Accountant to take on the following responsibilities:
  • Managing accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and actively contributing to our project of fully automating invoice issuance. You will also handle collections, follow up with customers as needed, and maintain up-to-date information in our CRM tool, while communicating regularly with the Accounts Management Team.
  • Handling bookkeeping tasks for smaller group companies and coordinating with external accounting firms for other Group companies located outside Belgium.
  • Reviewing and validating expense reports submitted by Rydoo employees.
  • Managing the Finance Mailbox to ensure timely responses to inquiries, requests and processing of invoices.
  • Assisting with various other accounting and finance projects as needed.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in accounting.
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, with experience in Netsuite considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools considered a plus.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, as it is the official working language of Rydoo.
  • The ability to communicate in Portuguese would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
  • Strong organizational skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
