What you’ll do:As a Technical Support Engineer, you provide ICT support to end users across the company. You are responsible for diagnosing and resolving incoming hardware and software issues for this specific target group. Your broad knowledge of the ICT landscape enables you to deliver the desired level of service.Your responsibilities include:
  • Acting as the first point of contact for ICT problems (directly or via the ticketing system).
  • Analyzing each incident based on input (e.g. laptops/desktops, smartphones, networks, MS Office, company-specific applications, hardware).
  • Offering fast and high-quality solutions.
  • Setting priorities and ensuring a personalized approach.
  • Maintaining oversight of ongoing ICT-related incidents.
  • Continuously developing knowledge of the ICT landscape and internal procedures.
  • Gaining insight into the company’s structure and understanding the needs of your users.
  • Persuading stakeholders to actively contribute to finding effective solutions.
You will be working from our centrally located and easily accessible offices in Aalst/Hofstade.What do you need?You hold a Bachelor’s degree in ICT or an A2 diploma with relevant experience. You are customer-oriented, approachable, and helpful. You think creatively when solving problems and strive for a high standard of quality. You handle sensitive information with discretion and are flexible in both time and location.
