You are largely responsible for the quality of our city bikes and e-bikes. In addition, you ensure that we are never surprised with our stock amounts! You make sure your team has a safe and fun environment to work in and support them on their growth path.How you pedal us forward:You lead the coolest team within the Swapfiets, consisting of technicians, mechanics, and senior mechanics in our warehouse in Mechelen 💪🏻Coordinate daily tasks, host team meetings, inform, and motivate the team to achieve daily targets, while also being responsible for team developmentCreate the shift planning for your teamLead the Swapfiets quality promise following the standard operating procedures and the quality controls and auditsHelp out with HR related processes such as recruitment, performance management, sickness and leaveFor 30% of your time, you actively support the Team on the floor by handling bike repairsCoordinate preparation of new (E-)Bikes and make them roadworthyYou ensure a safe working environment for everyoneSupport continuous improvement initiatives and special repairsYou are the main point of contact and support warehouse protocolsResponsible for providing the repair supply forecast in the S&OE process and the execution of this forecastThe gear you need:You have a secondary vocational education (MBO) work/level, preferably in a technical directionYou have some bike mechanic experienceYou ideally have 1-3 years experience in a process-oriented environmentYou are able to coach and enthuse colleaguesYou are available full timeYou have an eye for detail and a perfectionist streakYou can communicate well in English and Dutch (French is a big plus)Benefits for a smooth ride160 hours of legal vacation with 96 hours of paid reduction working hours (fixed contract)1 day of Social Leave (voluntary work) per yearYour own Swapfiets (lend-lease) 🚲An hourly salary of €18.71Lots of responsibility, challenging work, and friendly colleaguesTravel allowance (if you live more than 11 km away, otherwise you’ll just use your Swapfiets, right.. 😎?)We offer you a young dynamic environment, ood working atmosphere and nice colleaguesTeam buildings and BBQ’sPedalling Towards Inclusivity at Swapfiets! 🚲At Swapfiets, we believe in the power of diversity and inclusivity.
