The Group's vision is to be the aviation service provider of choice through excellence, experience, and expertise.PositionThe Tooling and Equipment Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all tooling and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of aircraft under EASA Part-145 approval are properly managed, calibrated, and compliant with all applicable regulations. This role supports the airworthiness and safety of operations by maintaining a controlled tooling environment that meets both regulatory and manufacturer requirements. To ensure the traceability, serviceability, and availability of tools, directly supporting line and base maintenance activities.Main activities and responsibilities:
  • Manage and control all tooling and ground support equipment (GSE) in accordance with EASA Part-145 standards, Health & Safety (H&S) regulation and internal company procedures.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date tooling / material inventory in the companies ERP system AMOS, ensuring all tools are identifiable, traceable, and properly recorded and labelled.
  • Oversee tool calibration and service/inspection schedules; ensure all calibrated tools have valid certificates traceable to national/international standards.
  • Oversee the H&S compliance of equipment (GSE equipment, Lifting equipment & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)).
  • Ensure that tooling meets the requirements specified by aircraft and component OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer, e.g. Boeing) and is approved for use under the company's MOE (Maintenance Organisation Exposition).
  • Organize the secure and efficient operation of the Tool & Equipment Store.
  • Liaise with approved vendors for tooling calibration services, ensuring regulatory compliance and cost efficiency.
  • Liaise with procurement and repair team members for tooling procurement and repairensuring regulatory compliance and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct analysis of damaged tooling reports and come with observations / recommendations / improvement.
  • Assist in drafting and updating procedures related to tooling in the MOE and supporting documents.
  • Promote a safety-first culture by adhering to human factors principles and continuous improvement in tooling processes, in cooperation with H&S Department.
  • Maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process.
RequirementsEssential Educational and / or Training Qualifications & Certificates
  • Diploma in logistics, mechanic or aviation (BTS/DMA).
  • Knowledge EASA PART 145 regulations is required, particularly in relation to tooling, calibration, and equipment control.
  • (Airport) driving license is required.
  • Forklift license is required.
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a regulated aircraft maintenance environment, ideally within an EASA Part-145 organization.
  • Practical experience with tooling control systems and maintenance management software (e.g., AMOS).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong understanding of traceability and certification requirements for calibrated tools.
  • Excellent documentation, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office tools; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English, French and/or Dutch (written and spoken); knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
