PositionStrategic leader with deep expertise in the FMCG industry
  • As International Sales Director, you help shape the company's growth strategy and the international commercial policy.
  • You develop and implement the global sales strategy in line with overall business objectives.
  • You are responsible for driving the efficiency of the different global and local sales teams through sales excellence and sales operations (finetuning sales processes, CRM, power BI, …)
  • You lead a team of 100+ passionate sales, channel and sales operations enthusiasts.
  • You identify growth opportunities in both existing and new markets, with a strong focus on sustainable relationships and profitable expansion.
  • You build and nurture strategic relationships with key accounts and global partners.
  • As a member of the executive committee, you actively contribute to the company's global strategy and decision-making.
  • You report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with colleagues from marketing, trade marketing, customer service, supply chain, and finance.
Profile
  • You hold a Master's degree combined with a proven track record in a senior sales leadership role within an FMCG environment, preferably with branded products or specialised retail channels.
  • You bring over 15 years of professional experience, demonstrating strong expertise in sales as well as strategic and managerial capabilities.
  • You build trust effortlessly, both internally and externally. As a communicative people manager, you inspire and lead multicultural and decentralised teams with enthusiasm. You are a strong negotiator focused on long-term relationships and partnerships.
  • You blend conceptual thinking and intellectual curiosity for market trends with a pragmatic, KPI-driven approach and financial realism.
  • You have a down-to-earth mindset with a focus on execution and results.
  • You easily shift between strategic and operational thinking, and your sharp insight drives you to actively contribute at an organisational level.
  • You have a wide experience with the implementation and usage of key sales tools such as Category management, CRM, BI, …
  • You are comfortable working with data to support and strengthen your strategic plan.
  • You speak fluent English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • You have an international mindset and are willing to travel up to 20% of your time.
