  • Audit suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards (in Belgium and abroad)
  • Check that suppliers comply with Belgian regulatory practices,
  • Ensure a good relationship with suppliers, internal customers and the inspection body
  • Resolve and monitor technical problems related to the materials production process
  • Provide technical advice and support
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers
  • Manage material stock, the supply process and material availability
  • Manage materials data and proactively analyze replacement products
To manage project engineering activities related to industrial materials |Project Materials Engineer - Brussels - Energy Sector
  • Master's degree in Engineering Sciences (industrialization, electromechanics, metallurgy or mechanics).
  • A keen interest in materials technology used in the industrial sector (petrochemicals, piping or boiler making)
  • First professional experience in an industrial or energy environment is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of FR/ENG or NL/ENG (with a good knowledge the other language)
  • Proactivity and problem-solving skills
  • A genuine team spirit
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Willingness to travel abroad
