The HR Manager has the responsibility for managing and overseeing all HR projects at Site level.
  • Create and execute HR (project) plans to meet company requirements and objectives in all HR fields (Social Relations, Business Partnering, Change Management, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, Performance Management, Learning & Development, …).
  • Update and revise HR project plans for presentations.
  • Update GM / HRD on project status.
  • Lead new project proposal efforts, including initial project definition and presentation.
  • Identify resource needs and assign individual responsibilities on projects.
  • Work with stakeholders to secure or schedule project resources necessary.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects.
  • Review deliverables and ensure projects are progressing towards milestones and completion.
  • Align goals and objectives with company goals and objectives.
  • Ensure projects are conducted in accordance to established regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain HR metrics and report out.
  • Serve as back up to payroll manager.
  • Hold regular status meetings.
  • Keep project team well informed of changes within the organisation.
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information.
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Manage personnel issues and provide timely feedback/reinforcement on performance.
  • Ensure adequate cross-training within the department to effectively manage changes in workflow.
  • Ensure personnel receive adequate communication and direction to perform their job functions.

  • Great communication skills both verbal and written (French & English).
  • Excellent computer skills, excel, word and Microsoft project.

  • Supervisory experience.
  • Delegation and follow-up skills, working autonomously & in a matrix organisation.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a HR generalist position.
  • Supervisory training or experience (incl. matrix organisation).
  • Master in Human Resources or similar.
