The Security department therefore works in close collaboration with the Central Safety division and security experts to support line managers.As a Security Operations Manager, you will be responsible for Eurostar security operation across Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany and the operational relationships with all border control and police forces influencing the company's business interests with overall responsibility for operational security duties and the business continuity of the production process.You will be based in our offices in Brussels.Internal Use OnlyBased in Brussels HQ, THIF Grade GRequirementsWe are looking for someone to...
  • Ensure the security of terminals and services in France,
  • Coordinate the activities of key terminal stakeholders (police, customs, immigration, inspection filtering) to ensure an expected passenger throughput and a good customer experience
  • Manage security service providers to guarantee a high level of service
  • Evolve the Eurostar security programme to take into account the profound regulatory changes describing cross-Channel security in France
  • Establish a program to prevent assaults against officers, ensure their follow-up and adaptation
  • Prescribe the necessary security measures for new services or services
You'll need...
  • Strong experience in railway or air operations with an experience in railway security management through knowledge of EU and UK Regulations on Railway Undertaking Security Management
  • Strong knowledge in Security
  • Demonstrated management experience in previous roles
  • To be fluent in Dutch and English
Desirable
  • Degree in criminology or related degree
  • Ability to speak French
