Since standing still is going backwards, we continue to invest in the future, our fleet and our personnel.What you'll doAs Tender & Procurement Coordinator Dredging Works at Jan De Nul, you will play a crucial role in the success of our tender processes. Your main responsibilities include:Studying incoming complex files:You thoroughly analyze incoming files to identify the client's main concerns and determine the required inputs.
You understand exactly what the client is requesting and what services need to be involved.
Preparing and compiling input for tender files:
You prepare document submissions lists and distribute tasks based on the tender received. In doing so, you specify details and ensure that the required information is collected correctly.Writing quality method statements:
You translate the design into concrete descriptions of the execution
You write method statements fluently, partly thanks to your in-depth knowledge of dredging techniques.Summarizing selected tenders:
You concisely summarize newly received tenders to support management in quick decision making.Function as interface between Area Managers, tender engineers and the secretariat.
Maintain the subcontractor tender database.What do you need?
  • You have a master's degree.
  • You have min. 2 years of experience within dredging techniques (abroad)
  • You are willing to travel occasionally (1-2 times a year, one week on site).
  • You have in-depth knowledge of dredging techniques.
  • You possess soft skills such as analytical ability, planning and organizational skills, accuracy, customer focus and excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent command of the English language is required, knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
