Development of back-end website applications.
Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic.
Implement core business logic.
Creation of servers and databases for functionality.
Design and implementation of data storage solutions.
Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
Design and develop APIs.
Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
Taking lead on projects, as needed.
Maintenance of code integrity and organisation.
Writing clean, functional code on the back-end.
Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
Write technical documentation
RequirementsWhat will you be bringing to the team?
Have at least a Bachelor's degree.
Possess a Certificate as Java EE Application Developer.
10 years’ experience with Java/JEE and its frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate).
3 years’ experience with Cloud-based DevOps.
2 years’ experience with: Postman, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Maven, Git, SVN, Angular 10+, eREST services, Jira, Confluence, Kafka, Swagger, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/Azure, ElasticSearch, Junit, PHP are considered as additional assets.
1 year experience with Weblogic Application Server.
Experience of development with Compass Corporate is considered an asset.
The following certifications are not mandatory but considered an asset: Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
