We explore new technologies and invest in infrastructure to accommodate hydrogen, biomethane, CO2 and other molecules for a climate neutral future.Within the Finance Department, the procurement office of Fluxys is composed of 4 services : Indirect Procurement, Direct Procurement, Procurement support and Procurement Back office. For the Procurement back-office team division, we are looking for a Procurement Back-Office Team Leader (m/f/x) reporting directly to the Procurement Manager.Job purposeYou will be responsible for the Procurement Back-Office and related team – mainly, the Procurement Back-Office works jointly with the Buyers teams to perform the needed procurement activities (as sourcing/tendering, contracting, purchasing, etc.) for the different departments within Fluxys, providing the technico-administrative support to the Buyers (collection and archiving of documentation along the procurement processes, administrative preparation of tenders, drafting of contracts and POs, etc.).Your responsibilities
Team management : You will lead a team ensuring clear task distribution, balanced workloads, effective planning, and continuous skills development through training and coaching. You play a key role in supporting and organizing the team, fostering a positive and collaborative dynamic
Daily operations : In close alignment with both direct and indirect procurement managers, you ensure smooth day-to-day operations to guarantee coherent follow-up of procurement files, consistent communication, and effective collaboration between back-office and Buyers teams
Procurement Process management : You actively contribute to the development and continuous improvement of procurement procedures, workflows, and tools, identifying the discrepancies in the process in close collaboration with both Direct and Indirect Procurement Managers. By supporting optimization initiatives—whether related to terms & conditions, processes, or systems—you help ensure that procurement practices are clear, coherent, and fully compliant with internal and external regulations
Stakeholder management : You coordinate support to the Buyers teams in managing their stakeholders, including the preparation and upkeep of essential reports (contracts, ongoing tenders, procurement files, etc.) to ensure complete information is readily available to enable proper decision-making and timely actions
Knowledge management : You create, manage, and promote the use of knowledge and information related to procurement processes and systems, to strengthen operational efficiency within the Procurement team and support all stakeholders involved in purchasing activities across the organization—both now and in the future
In addition, you oversee small purchase processes, supplier data management, and ensure compliant tender and contract preparation. You also provide reporting tools to support efficient, risk-managed, and timely procurement operations
About you
You have 3 to 5 years of team management experience and a solid background in technical-administrative roles, including contract management, procurement processes, and stakeholder coordination
You are fluent in French and Dutch, with a good passive understanding of English, as most documentation is in English
You consistently demonstrate high integrity in all your actions and decisions
You pay close attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and high-quality work
You possess excellent planning and organizational skills, enabling you to efficiently manage your own tasks and those of your team
