For a leading logistics company located in the Port of Ghent, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join the team in a 2-shift system.In this role, you are responsible for the daily operations of the warehouse: you lead the team, optimize workflows, ensure safety and guarantee smooth inbound and outbound flows. You are the link between planning, logistics and the shop floor.You take charge of:Leading and coaching warehouse staff through briefings, follow-ups and trainingPlanning and organizing all daily warehouse activities to meet deadlinesOptimizing warehouse layout and processes for speed and efficiencyMonitoring incoming and outgoing goods, storage and inventory accuracyMaintaining safety procedures, conducting audits and following up on incidentsReporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational resultsKeeping equipment running by coordinating with the maintenance teamYou’ve previously worked in a supervisory role within warehousing or logistics.You know warehouse operations inside-out, including inventory control and dispatch.You’re confident leading teams and enjoy getting people aligned around clear goals.Experience in automotive logistics is a definite asset.You’re tech-savvy with warehouse software (WMS, scanners, planning tools…).Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills are a must.You’re proactive, structured, and detail-oriented.You adapt quickly to changing situations and maintain calm under pressure.A forklift license is a bonus, or you're open to obtaining one.De logistieke strategie van een organisatie vastleggen.
