Our client is a major player in the international real estate sector, with a strong and historic footprint in Belgium.As part of its continued growth and organizational development in Belgium, the company is now looking to strengthen its finance leadership. They are seeking a Finance Manager to join the Belgian team and help steer the performance monitoring, and strategic planning across their real estate portfolio.As Finance Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager in Belgium and work closely with the Group CFO. You will lead a small team (6 FTE) and take full ownership of the company's financial operations and reporting:
Supervise and ensure accurate financial and management accounting
Coordinate month-end and year-end closings in line with group standards
Prepare and present financial reports to management and external stakeholders
Monitor cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities
Ensure full compliance with local accounting, tax, and legal regulations
Oversee audits (internal and external) and liaise with auditors and fiscal advisors
Contribute to strategic decisions by providing relevant KPIs and performance indicators
Drive improvements in processes, systems, and internal controls
Support project managers in budget monitoring and profitability analysis
Position of Finance ManagerChallenging role in a growing organization in real estate
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in finance, including leadership roles.
Solid knowledge of Belgian accounting and tax legislation.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Hands-on, pragmatic, and business-oriented mindset.
Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in French, Dutch, and English (written and spoken).
Experience with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., SAP, Navision, Power BI) is a plus.
