Regional Sales Manager West & East Flanders (m/f/x)

- Adapt and deploy Orthopaedics strategy in the territory, having a special focus on NPI (New Product Introduction) development, global deals, and margin protection
- In collaboration with the National Sales Director, define, develop, and implement the BU strategy to ensure a long-term balanced growth in line with the sales target
- Manage and develop the organization to ensure the best commercial coverage, commercial strategy, the execution of action plans and the efficient management of the company’s performance
- Proactive identification of business opportunities and taking decisions to define short- and long-term plans/solutions
- Develop long-term relationships with KOLs, buying groups and customers in their territory to achieve Smith+Nephew’s local objectives
- Work on the the Power BI’s sales database and encourage use of Link 360 to maintain up to date important metric reports on NPI development & sales evolution and to define targets & opportunities based on the implemented segmentation
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with key opinion leaders, surgeons, hospitals, and distributors to drive product adoption and dedication
- Contribute to the promotion and development of the image of the Society by participating at national conventions, selecting regional conferences, and providing information and medical training to clients and prospects
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and execution of business objectives
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to find opportunities and threats, and develop appropriate strategies
- Lead, empower, and mentor the team to improve performance and efficiency
- Measure the regional performance and apply corrective actions needed to develop the results of the team and the progress identified
- Participate regularly in Sales Management meetings and actively share the results, best practices, know-how and arguments to improve the efficiency of the sales team
- The permanent analysis of the team's activity (efficiency, organization, planning, etc.) and commercial performance (changes in sales, turnover, and margin) through the available statistics (internal dashboards, link 360, ...)
- Diploma: (Para) medical field (scrub technician and physiotherapy is an advantage), business administration, marketing, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of successful commercial experience (Medical Devices experience is desired) and affinity with technology and the medical industry. Experience with the musculoskeletal system in general is an advantage
- Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and in English - French language is a plus
- Competencies: Autonomy, business and customer oriented, excellent negotiations skills, proactivity, ability to influence and mentor
- Mobility required for field visits, especially to engage with surgeons and healthcare professionals (driving license needed)
