Now that’s making a difference.We’re looking for a talented consultants to join our Risk Consulting department as of September 2026.Your impactA career within our Risk Consulting team will provide you with the opportunity to assist our clients with a range of risk and compliance related services, such as setting up effective compliance programmes and third party risk management processes, as well as forensic investigative and due diligence work to help our clients mitigate legal, financial and reputational risks.Our key services include:The design and implementation of compliance and ethics programmes, both at the enterprise level (governance model, operating model, definition of roles and responsibilities) and the vertical level (such as in relation to anti-bribery and corruption, human rights, as well as key ethics domains such as conflict of interest, anti-fraud and whistleblowing).
The design and implementation of third party risk management programmes to address and mitigate risks from the business’ third parties, including technology and tool implementations.
The conduct of forensic services and due diligence work such as fraud investigations, investigations into harassment and bullying, integrity due diligence work, supply chain due diligence, etc.Your tasksAs a Consultant, you will assist with the execution of our risk and compliance mandates and support the business development activities of the practice.
Having a background in accounting, financial auditing and internal controls is important. We therefore propose a learning track during which you can (further) develop these key skills by supporting the financial audit department during one or possibly two seasons. This role offers hands-on experience in financial auditing, accounting, business process, preparing you for a successful career in Risk Consulting.Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to:Assist with the execution of projects respecting project plans with detailed timelines and budgets under the instructions of a Senior Consultant and above;Assist with the preparation of reports and other deliverables;Assist and participate in business development activities of the team and help identify and research opportunities for new/existing clients. This includes assisting with the development of discussion documents and presentations that outline our point of view in relation to compliance and ethics, as well as our approach to potential engagements;Assist with the preparation of proposals that describe our approach, deliverables and fees to projects;Research of public domain information in one or more languages including research of corporate registers, media databases, litigation records and other open source material, and perform Integrity Due Diligences;As a hybrid profile, you will be supporting forensic investigations.As a Consultant, your direct reporting line will be to a Senior Consultant, Manager or above. You will work alongside colleagues with extensive consulting and industry experience that will enable you to develop your career in risk and compliance and to gain experience in topics that will continue to gain importance for businesses in the future.About youYou have a master degree preferably in Business, Economics (including accounting), Law or similar domains. Any relevant experience within consultancy is a plus (e.g. internship or 1 or 2 years experience);You enjoy working on a broad variety of assignments;You are flexible, which means you can quickly get familiar with new topics, can collaborate with new team members and multitask;You have an eye for detail but do not lose sight of the bigger picture;You are motivated by helping clients find solutions to the challenges they are facing;You have an aptitude for research, an investigative and sceptical mind-set, and excellent writing skills;You have a general interest in risk and compliance and are looking to develop your skills and experience in the following areas: anti-bribery and corruption, human rights, pharmaceutical regulations, environmental regulations, antitrust, etc.;You are a profound user of MS office, especially powerpoint and are able to convert our vision into powerpoints and other presentation platforms;You enjoy teamwork;You master Dutch or French and English fluently, both in spoken and written language.
