We are seeking a seasoned Senior Legal Counsel to join a forward-thinking organization based in Brussels. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex legal matters including commercial contracts, litigation, M&A, and compliance across multiple sectors such as logistics, banking, and insurance. You will act as a strategic advisor to the business, helping shape legal frameworks that support innovation and growth.
Negotiate and draft complex commercial and strategic partnership agreements.
Lead legal aspects of M&A transactions and provide strategic advice.
Oversee litigation and dispute resolution, including coordination with external counsel.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations across multiple business domains.
Develop and implement legal policies to mitigate risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide legal support across departments.
Act as a proactive business partner, aligning legal priorities with strategic goals.
Lead high-impact legal initiatives in a dynamic, international environment.Be a strategic legal partner in a company undergoing transformation and growth.
Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate law, M&A, and commercial negotiations.
Master's degree in Law; additional qualifications are a plus.
Proven track record in transactional work and stakeholder management.
Knowledge of banking and insurance law is an asset.
Fluent in English, Dutch, and French.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
