We are seeking a seasoned Senior Legal Counsel to join a forward-thinking organization based in Brussels. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex legal matters including commercial contracts, litigation, M&A, and compliance across multiple sectors such as logistics, banking, and insurance. You will act as a strategic advisor to the business, helping shape legal frameworks that support innovation and growth.
  • Negotiate and draft complex commercial and strategic partnership agreements.
  • Lead legal aspects of M&A transactions and provide strategic advice.
  • Oversee litigation and dispute resolution, including coordination with external counsel.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations across multiple business domains.
  • Develop and implement legal policies to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide legal support across departments.
  • Act as a proactive business partner, aligning legal priorities with strategic goals.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate law, M&A, and commercial negotiations.
  • Master's degree in Law; additional qualifications are a plus.
  • Proven track record in transactional work and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of banking and insurance law is an asset.
  • Fluent in English, Dutch, and French.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
