Job Description:Logistic Officer BeNeLux (m/f/d)📍 Location: Mechelen, Belgium
📅 Start Date: 1st October 2025

We are driven by a shared mission: building a healthier tomorrow through science, care, and collaboration.To ensure the seamless execution of all logistics processes across Benelux acting as a key player in our local operations and a reliable link to our logistic partners.Your Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate logistics and customer service activities for our BeNeLux customers
  • Ensure the complete order-to-invoice process
  • Act as first point of contact for the local Logistics Service Provider
  • Forecast product volume per SKU in IBP, aligned with KPI target MAPE (forecast accuracy)
  • Monitor stock levels and oversee local batch releases from Orion's export warehouse in Finland
  • Perform SAP-related tasks, including:
  • Posting goods receipts for the local plant
  • Entering and managing customer orders
  • Creating credit notes for returns and price corrections
  • Managing product price changes at customer level
  • Handling IDOCs
  • Monitor credit limit utilization and coordinate updates with Orion Corporation Treasury (Finland)
  • Initiate and maintain customer master data in SAP
  • Create and manage standard and ad hoc reports
  • Handle returns in close collaboration with our logistics partner
  • Support the dunning procedure in alignment with the Finance team in Finland
  • Maintain a matrix of financial contacts for effective dunning communication
  • Review and qualify local suppliers and customers regularly
  • Support in case of product recalls and Product Defect Notifications
  • Serve as backup for complaint handling.
Your QualificationsProfessional qualifications:
  • Commercial education and/or degree in Business Administration
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, especially SAP R/3 or S4 HANA
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Familiar with lean and quality management methods, as well as project management
Personal qualifications:
  • Strong commitment and sense of ownership
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and reliability
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to learn
  • Native Dutch speaker, with good working knowledge of French and fluent Business English
  • Strong identification with Orion's values and strategic goals
