Join us and reach your higher purpose at Cargill.This position is in Cargill's food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.Job Purpose & ImpactThe Account Manager is part of Go-to-Market Europe and holds a customer-facing position to directly conduct business with small to medium sized enterprises in EMEA region. The Account Manager will develop customer sales strategies and build relationships based on the company's values. In this role, you will help identify and contact prospective customers, build relationships and contribute to the assessment of customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions that maximize product revenue and improves profitability. The future incumbent of the position should have fluent Polish and English language skills. Hybrid working is available.Key Accountabilities
  • Align with customer partners to sell products, quoting and negotiating product pricing within pricing function guidelines
  • Develop customer sales strategies to meet customer goals and objectives and create opportunities and initiate projects
  • Process customer orders and manage overall order fill rate and on time delivery service
  • Gather and communicate channel, market, customer or competitive information and intelligence and interact with team on strategy and pricing functions
  • Manage contracts and risk with pricing and trade promotions teams then resolve and coordinate the investigation of claims and disputes
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff
  • Other duties as assigned
RequirementsMinim
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven negotiation and selling skills and experience
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience in the field of sales
  • Fluent Polish and English language skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with sales or business development
  • Previous experience selling B2B sales environment
  • SAP, Salesforce, Excel Pivot
  • Experience in Food Ingredients is an advantage but not a must-have.
