To support the growth of our client’s international trading activities, we are looking for a commercially driven professional with proven experience in steel trading. As a Steel Trader, you will play a key role in expanding and managing a profitable customer portfolio. Your main tasks include:Developing and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and suppliers.Actively identifying opportunities and converting them into sales.Traveling regularly to visit existing clients and prospect new ones in international markets.Reporting sales results, market trends, and customer feedback directly to the Managing Director.Your profileYou have a proven track record in steel trading and understand the dynamics of international trade.Your background is commercial, technical or logistics-oriented.You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Negotiation is one of your strongest assets.You are proactive, curious, and solution-oriented.You have an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive on challenges.You’re comfortable working independently, especially during international prospecting.You are persistent and always attuned to the evolving needs of your clients.You are fluent in English and French; knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage.What we offerA permanent contract with a competitive fixed salary and a performance-based bonus.The chance to further develop your expertise in a dynamic, international environment.A unique opportunity to explore and open new markets.A supportive, collaborative work atmosphere within a motivated and experienced team.Interested?
