- You are responsible for developing and drawing up the communication plan, the structure and the communication tools in order to anticipate or respond to the stakeholders' concerns and questions
- For certain projects you are the spokesperson and contact person for the local press.
- You will follow the publications in the press and on social media for the projects as well as the subjects that may potentially impact our projects.
- To prepare the teams for the public information sessions, you will be in the lead for the organsiation of these sessions and will organise communication training if necessary.
- You provide the communication of certain transversal dossiers (outside the scope of the projects).
- As an expert in project communication, you participate actively in internal and external meetings.
- You show the necessary creativity in order to develop innovative communication (digital communication and social media)
- You help to identify and classify the stakeholders involved (authorities, opposition groups, associations, etc.).
- You draw up an action plan based on a risk analysis.
- You organise and attend meetings with the stakeholders.
- You organise (logistics aspects) the information sessions and other events with the stakeholders and you steer them in the right direction.
- You will develop networks and lasting collaborations with stakeholders.
- You are the contact person for local residents when they have questions about the project.
- You report directly to the Project Communication Manager
- You work together with external communication agencies so that they can provide the necessary support for certain tasks.
- You are in constant contact with the spokespersons of the company's external communication in order to keep the messages and communication actions consistent.
- You have a Master's degree in communication or equivalent experience.
- You have already gained experience in the communication sector, preferably with an infrastructure company or in the energy sector.
- You have experience with the use of social media.
- You have experience with stakeholder management.
- You have a good knowledge and a good understanding of local/regional politics and how the latter works.
- You have a feel for spatial planning and energy.
- You have a basic technical knowledge and sufficient knowledge in the subject.
- You have experience in organising events such as information sessions .
- You are Dutch-speaking and have an practical knowledge of French and English, both verbally and written.
