Their goal is not only to ensure legal security, but to strike the right balance between compliance and business reality.
They act as a true strategic partner, capable of negotiating, adapting, and interpreting the law with pragmatism, embedding it into the company's day-to-day operations. This cross-functional role is reflected in several key missions.1. Contractual Framework: Securing Without Hindering Business
- Complete rewriting of legal documents to adapt them to the company's specificities
- Close collaboration with business teams to understand operational challenges and tailor contracts accordingly
- Drafting Easi's general terms and conditions
- Reviewing and adjusting contracts: some clients impose their own terms and conditions, requiring strong negotiation and adaptation skills
- Serving as the single point of contact (SPOC) between business teams and legal to streamline communication
- Providing support in conflictual or sensitive situations with partners or clients
- In some cases, applying pressure through legal channels: the legal team can play the “bad cop” to unlock a situation
- Conversely, the Legal department often discreetly supports the sales teams (playing the “good cop”)
- The goal is not to escalate conflicts, but to protect the company's interests while maintaining a solution-oriented and client-focused approach
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): legal lead on projects
- Post-acquisition follow-up to ensure legal consistency within the group
- Implementation and management of the shareholding model: from communication to project management, including the departure of shareholders
- Creation and oversight of foreign entities
- Point of contact for audits and due diligence procedures
- Drafting and managing Share Purchase Agreements (SPA)
- Legal advice on economic and civil law matters
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with GDPR requirements
- Adhering to ISO standards
- Anticipating and implementing European directives such as NIS2 or the AI Act
- Acting as an interface with IT to ensure information governance aligns with legal requirements
- Master's degree in Law
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in corporate law or as a lawyer
- Knowledge of or interest in laws and regulations related to the IT sector in which Easi operates
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work and make decisions independently
- Flexibility and responsiveness in a dynamic environment
- Team spirit and a proactive, action-oriented mindset
- Ability to demonstrate pragmatism
