Senior Insurance Risk Manager (NL/ENG)

• You work very closely with colleagues from your own team and from other departments, including international ones.
• You analyze new regulations and implement them in our operations.
• You identify the risks that KBC is exposed to, both current and future. For this, you keep an eye on risk signals from inside and outside our organization.
• You measure and analyze these risks by diving into various information sources and looking for connections, for example, between different types of risks.
• You present your insights clearly and digestibly to colleagues and managers. You take clear positions and defend them to internal and external stakeholders.
• You make suggestions on how our risk management can be improved and become more data-driven.

• You have experience in the insurance sector or in fields such as Risk, Legal, Finance, or Treasury. Ideally, you have a Master's Degree in Applied Economics, Business Engineering, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or Law.
• You communicate strongly in English and Dutch, both written and oral. This is necessary to collaborate smoothly with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Like your colleagues, you enjoy working together with others and achieving goals as a team.
• In your field, you are responsible for the timeliness and quality of the reports and notes delivered to senior management and regulators.
• You stay up to date with regulatory initiatives in your field and proactively engage with them.
• You think about ways to use new technologies (e.g., AI) within risk management.
