As an OT Security Analyst, you are part of the IT Operations team that provides 24/7 support for the infrastructure.Jouw functie:
  • In this role, you are end-to-end responsible for complying with, and determining the security rules in the OT network.
  • You review cyber security risks in a holistic way, partly from a governance point of view (cyber risk, cyber controls, policies, training, awareness, incident response, etc.), using specific methods and processes for the OT environment (taking into account 24/7 availability for production, machine vendor specific solutions, …) building on the methods and processes that exist for the IT network.
  • You map the entire OT network from a cyber risk management perspective.
  • You constantly monitor the OT environment for vulnerabilities and security breaches.
  • You translate the risk analysis into a portfolio of OT-specific security projects, taking into account the impact and consequences of such projects, and their feasibility (including in terms of resourcing).
  • You look at all project and change requests with a clear focus on securing the infrastructure and applications.
  • You follow the execution of the OT security projects in the international multi-site environment of LLBG; you have an advisory role towards IT, Automation and business management. You help define the standard for the different technologies in terms of cyber security.
  • You work closely with:
  • The Automation team to support them in implementing good security on the OT network;
  • The IT Teams and the IT Architect to support them in the implementation from a technical standpoint (tooling, vulnerability scanning, logging and monitoring);
  • The stakeholders from the business to make the solutions of LLBG as secure as possible.
  • You are responsible for regularly training the IT and Automation staff in OT security topics.
  • You play a coordinating role in potential security incidents in the OT network and take responsibility for follow-up and reporting. You are also the point of contact with third parties for coordination and management in relation to security-related matters.
  • You stay up-to-date on the evolution of external threats, the latest trends and security standards.
In this role, you report directly to the IT Operations Manager (in his capacity as LLBG CISO) and are mainly stationed at our headquarters in Ninove. You also report, via an important dotted line, to the Group Automation Manager.Your network also consists internationally of the local automation managers, with whom you will have to maintain strong connections; occasionally you will have to travel to other sites in Belgium and abroad.Jouw profiel:
  • You have successfully obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation with a strong affinity for Computer Science.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in OT within an operational environment and have a great affinity with ICT and OT infrastructure.
  • You are familiar with IEC 62443 or similar methods to detect and secure risks for OT environments.
  • You have gained knowledge and experience with common tools in an OT production environment (from sensors to PLCs and SCADA).
  • You have a broad technical knowledge with a focus on cyber security (SIEM, SOC) in an OT network and with OT components, specifically around segregation, firewalls, secure access control, (automated) back up and identity management and experience with infrastructure patching (vmware, Cisco, Windows, Dell, Azure) and vulnerability scanning. Good knowledge of mail security, antivirus and anti-malware, EDR and NDR, IPS, Next Gen firewalls, VPN, SASE and Cloud security
  • Excellent knowledge of the wide range of OT/IoT devices and protocols with their specific risks and protections.
  • Good knowledge of ITIL and notions of TOGAF or an alternative framework is a must.
  • Furthermore, you are strongly analytical, have a critical mindset, are a team player, and work in a planned and structured manner.
  • You can work independently, you are customer and service oriented, flexible and able to understand and quickly analyze a problem. Mapping processes and documenting them clearly is your second nature.
  • You are a good communicator and team player, and as such able to bridge the gap between IT and OT teams. You motivate and inspire others with your "can-do" mentality.
  • Finally, you speak and write fluently in Dutch and English, a good basic knowledge of French is recommended.
