Teamleader GL & Controlling - Brussels North (Vilvoorde)

• Management of a team of 4 employees (GL & Financial Controllers)
• Supervision of GL Accounting: validation of the accuracy of financial transactions + periodic reconciliations and intercompany transactions
• Responsibility for monthly and yearly closings (in coordination with AP and AR teams)
• Key point of contact with external and internal auditors, as well as with the Board (Accounting Key Partner)
• Financial Reporting: preparation of financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements)
• Process improvement: identification and implementation of process improvements and automation in GL accounting & Controlling

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (a Master's degree in Finance and/or certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) would be an asset)
• Fluent in English with an excellent level of French and/or Dutch
• At least 10 years' experience as a Senior Accountant/GL/Financial Controller in BEGAAP
• At least 4 years' experience as Manager of a Financial Controlling/GL team
• First experience in an international group and/or in the transport sector is an asset
• Excellent team management skills
• Excellent ability to analyze, interpret and communicate financial data
• Strong interest in improving and automating accounting processes
