Our 170 employees are based in our offices in Heverlee and Lummen.What you will doThe goal of this internship assignment is to investigate how a Microsoft Azure environment can be effectively monitored within the existing monitoring architecture. You will analyze available monitoring options for Azure resources and conduct research into how NetFlow data (or comparable flow data) can be collected, processed, and integrated. Based on this research, you will develop a proof-of-concept (POC) that demonstrates the feasibility and practical implementation of this monitoring approach.The solution must align with the current monitoring landscape, which uses Broadcom DX NetOps as the central platform for network and infrastructure monitoring. The Mediation Manager is the primary integration point for custom device plugins and data ingestion. Kafka may be used in the future as a data distribution mechanism, while Grafana dashboards can support additional visualization requirements.This is you
Team player, with a passion for IT; particularly skilled in XML configuration and scripting in Groovy or Java

Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and API development in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Node.js is preferred
Basic knowledge of networking and data flows (NetFlow/VPC Flow Logs) and familiarity with message buses such as Kafka and visualization tools like Grafana are considered a plus
