We're looking for a Business Protection Advisor to join our team at Sally Europe. Please note, this role is field based and travel will be required.In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the delivery of our loss prevention and shortage control programmes. You'll be responsible for investigating potential risks, identifying opportunities for business improvement, and ensuring safe working environments for colleagues and customers.Working collaboratively with the Risk and Compliance team, you'll develop and deliver training, provide expert advice, and contribute to the ongoing profitability and security of the business.What You'll Be Doing:
  • Reduce stock loss year on year by advising and training colleagues in business protection techniques.
  • Deliver engaging training programmes to improve operational accuracy and minimise loss.
  • Analyse store data to identify and address loss-making practices.
  • Investigate potential fraud within stores.
  • Conduct Health & Safety risk assessments to ensure safe working environments.
  • Carry out Risk and Compliance Reviews to monitor operational standards.
  • Act as an advisor to Territory Management on security, health, safety, and risk.
  • Present findings and updates at meetings, forums, and business roadshows.
  • Ensure effective physical security measures are in place across sites.
  • Build awareness of emerging risks and trends that could impact profitability.
What we're looking for:We're seeking someone who can bring strong expertise, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset. You'll be able to balance detail with big-picture thinking, and you'll be confident engaging with colleagues across different levels of the organisation.Essential experience and qualifications:
  • Degree-level education (security management qualification preferred).
  • At least 5 years' experience in retail security or security management.
  • Strong knowledge of retail risk management.
  • Skilled in interviewing techniques (Wicklander-Zulawski method desirable).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Full BE driving licence.
Desirable:
  • NEBOSH or IOSH certification.
