We are seeking a Business Operations Manager to play a key role in the operational excellence of Simulation & Test Solutions (STS) organization: it may be for you!This role provides an exciting opportunity to ensure the success of our software solution Simcenter by helping to achieve strategic segment priorities that span across multiple teams and organizations. Groundbreaking STS ambition, your focus will be ensuring that our segment leadership has relevant data and decision-making tools and processes to make data-driven prioritization and execution decisions. You act as a sounding board to Sr. leadership on matters of strategy, team efficiency, and operations.In this role, strategic project coordination, partnership and leadership are central:
With your cross-team vision, you drive and lead segment central initiatives, multiple and sophisticated projects, including the development and implementation of business strategies and tactics. You ensure program achievements and objectives are met, driving the team towards deadlines, acting as a thought partner as required, you communicate program progress and breakthroughs. You help lead and run effective leadership team meetings, including defining agenda, facilitating meetings as needed, capture minutes and action items, and follow-ups as needed.
Running monthly reporting and segment Quarterly Business Review (QBR) processes, including oversight of results dashboard, incentive structures, and celebrating achievements and successes.
As a strong business partner to the leadership team, you facilitate cross-functional alignment across key collaborators including different internal functions. At the forefront of internal and external trends, you collaborate outside STS segment, Sales, Marketing, other business segments, to solicit feedback, balance competing priorities and better understand stakeholder business requirements.
Internally, you work with the Finance Controller on durable key revenue and deployment metrics and quarterly reports with emphasis on better understanding of sub-business segment profitability.
You champion and drive efforts across the team to improve team efficiency, processes, and workflows, contributing to the overall success of the organization and making STS a great place to work.
Together with the future Transformation Manager working with you, you handle communications on behalf of leadership, distilling and communicating key messages to extended team and collaborators across the segment.
Your qualificationsWe would love to hear from you as a passionate engineer or business-related field, with background in simulation/PLM.
To succeed in this position, good communication skills and leadership are key: you collaborate, drive, and influence all your internal business partners & external interlocutors. You are comfortable negotiating and driving timely decisions, being a diplomat with high levels of professional confidence. You demonstrate experience of successfully working across organizational lines and strong executive presentation skills. You must be a flexible and creative individual capable of leading and handling multiple priorities and projects in a fast paced, often ambiguous, and diverse environment, staying rigorous and methodic (willingness and ability to operate at both higher and more detailed levels as the need arises).
You join us with in-depth experience in leading portfolio or product management role, ideally including management of staff and budget. You bring experience in a program management role; with strong organizational and change management skills and a strong sense of ownership/bias for action to deliver results.
