Research NVH Engineer
- Anvers
- CDI
- Temps-plein
- Research advanced measurement techniques (e.g., motion amplification, digital image correlation, infrared thermography with angle correction) to characterize thermo-mechanical behaviour in compressors.
- Balance feasibility and complexity of measurement methods with available project time and resources.
- Lead the first assignment: infrared thermography measurement including angle correction.
- Contribute to the design and validation of experimental setups, ensuring accurate data collection and interpretation.
- Apply research results to real-world product development challenges in compressor technology.
- Continuously seek out innovative solutions, testing and iterating with persistence beyond initial setbacks. Required qualifications :- Education/Background: PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
- Strong affinity with thermodynamics and mechanical components; knowledge of measurement techniques for thermodynamic parameters is a major plus.
- Research experience in experimental methods; familiarity with techniques such as Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) or Digital Image Correlation (DIC) is considered a huge plus.
- Hands-on mentality - someone who enjoys experimenting, building, and testing (the type who is a DIYer at home).
- Entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, and persistent mindset: always curious and eager to go beyond the expected.
- Ability to think creatively and critically while maintaining a structured research approach.
