Process Technology Engineer - Ultra High Precision ManufacturingAbout the Role:We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Process Technology Engineers with a Master's degree to join our team in the cutting-edge field of ultra-high precision manufacturing. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value processes, contributing directly to the development and optimization of our advanced manufacturing technologies. We are open to considering various experience levels post-graduation, provided candidates demonstrate a strong drive, a foundational understanding of process technology, and some relevant experience in the areas mentioned below.Responsibilities:
  • Process Development and Optimization: Design, develop, and optimize ultra-high precision manufacturing processes, focusing on continuous improvement and achieving stringent quality targets. This includes process characterization, validation, and documentation.
  • Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Utilize Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., DMAIC) to investigate process deviations, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Automation and Control: Contribute to the integration and optimization of automated systems, including programming (e.g., Python, C++, or similar) and vision systems for process control and quality inspection.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to identify trends, improve process stability, and generate reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and quality, to ensure seamless process transfer and continuous improvement.
  • Technology Exploration: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in process technology, automation, and vision systems, and evaluate their potential application in our manufacturing processes.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain accurate and detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and control plans. Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A Master's degree in Engineering
  • Experience: While we are open to different experience levels post-graduation and will provide internal training, candidates should demonstrate some relevant experience in process technology, preferably within a high-tech manufacturing environment, gained through internships, research projects, or prior work experience. Experience with ultra-high precision manufacturing is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of process engineering principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with programming (e.g., Python, C++, or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with vision systems and their application in process control and quality inspection.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis).
