- Collaborate closely with the Reservation Department to strategically plan the market mix, maximizing room occupancy while meticulously recording all relevant details.
- Ensure that all Front Desk services are available and executed efficiently, consistently meeting our high standards. Provide on-the-job training and supervision to front office staff.
- Set departmental objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies, and procedures. Uphold the hotels commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality.
- Address guest complaints promptly, efficiently, and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct employee performance appraisals, review and discuss staff personal development plans, and identify areas for improvement. Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Ensure all employees fully understand and adhere to the organizations policies and procedures.
- Monitor and ensure punctuality, grooming standards, and uniform adherence of all employees. Be a role model for professionalism.
- Previous experience in a managerial position within the Front Office Department.
- Proficient in computer skills, including familiarity with Opera Property Management System (PMS).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as necessary.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French. Dutch or any other European language is a plus
- Exceptional customer care and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure.
