The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of event management coupled with exceptional project management skills. They will be responsible for leading the coordination and execution of complex and large-scale event projects, ensuring they are delivered with excellence, on time, and within budget.Responsibilities:Plan and execute medium to large-scale high-level event projects for EU Institutions.Manage all aspects of medium and large-sized event projects from conception to completion.Generate innovative ideas to enhance audience and stakeholder experiences.Develop event concepts and formats tailored to client needs.Maintain regular communication with clients, predominantly within the EU Institutions.Efficiently manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.Coordinate with internal creative and production teams as well as external service providers and suppliers.Supervise project tasks on a daily basis and ensure quality control.Provide sustainable, innovative, and inclusive event services.Contribute to the preparation of technical and financial offers for event-related tenders.Requirements:Minimum of 7 years of event organization and management experience in a communication environment, preferably within the EU Institutions and the European Commission.Strong communication and client-oriented skills.Exceptional organizational and planning abilities.Proficiency in project and time management (Prince 2 certification preferred).Proven track record of organizing and delivering complex, medium, and large-scale online and physical event projects.Familiarity with various online registration, conferencing, and engagement tools and platforms.Ability to lead project implementation teams effectively.Knowledge of the Brussels market and experience in contracting event logistics suppliers and venues in Belgium and other EU countries.Proficiency in English and French; knowledge of other languages such as German is advantageous.Commitment to delivering high-quality, creative, and sustainable event services.Basic understanding of registration tools like CVENT, Swoogo, and B2Match is a plus.Ability to manage multiple event projects concurrently, both in preparation and implementation stages.#indeed#LI-CC1Working at ICFICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, but we’re not your typical consultants.
