This basic principle for us is called: “KAIZEN” and is what guides us in our pursuit of best Quality and the delivery of unparalleled customer’s satisfaction.Within the Quality Function of Toyota’s European Headquarter, our team is the ultimate responsible to guarantee that the products and services we are introducing to the market will meet Customers’ expectations.Hence, we are responsible to audit, evaluate & improve the overall quality level for European vehicle projects (from concept until Start of Production).As we are moving towards a Mobility Company, in addition to the vehicle projects, our scope is expanding to other means of mobility and value-added (connected) services.We are currently looking for an additional team member that would first learn and grow within our vehicle projects quality activities. And as a second step to apply the learning to strengthen our mobility and value-added (connected) services.Your responsibilities
  • You analyse Quality related market trends and Customers’ requirements by using various surveys & research in Europe and develop European customer satisfaction improvement requirements for next vehicle or mobility projects
  • You collect and study past Quality concerns to understand how to prevent them in the next vehicle projects or mobility projects
  • You use your analysis results to plan & implement key Quality improvement priorities for new or mobility projects together with the related project stakeholders in other related departments at Toyota and European Manufacturing Plants (EMC). These priorities will be followed up during each stage of project
  • You define and align with related projects stakeholders on the required Quality activities and key Quality performance indicators for new vehicles and mobility projects and confirm them during each stage/milestone of the project
  • You audit the product, parts, or service’s quality level by performing confirmation activities during development stage & during pre-production stage
  • You provide recommendation towards the readiness judgement to release the vehicle or mobility projects to the market
  • You continuously look for way to improve current working methodologies and standardise the best practises into concrete procedures

  • You have a master’s degree in engineering
  • You have strong interest in automotive and mobility, practical experience in those fields is an asset
  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You are curious, fact based and have strong analysis skills
  • You have courage to take initiative with ownership and defend your opinions assertively and with respect
  • You are a team player and actively contribute to the team’s success and wellbeing
  • You are stress resistant and have strong personal organization competences to prioritize and manage diverse tasks while meeting strict deadlines
  • Mastering Microsoft Office tools is a must, other software knowledge (e.g. programming tool) is an asset
  • You are flexible and willing to travel (maximum 25%) across Europe, mostly, and in Japan
