In this dynamic role, you will be based in our office in Leuven and you'll be pivotal in shaping the future of our offerings, reporting directly to the VP, Head of Customer Value. We're seeking a visionary leader to take charge and drive innovation, ensuring our products resonate with our diverse customer base, and deliver on our growth and profitability targets.Role and Responsibilities:Product Management:
  • Set the vision for the portfolio and the innovation roadmap.
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle for TOMRA Food's product portfolio.
  • Work closely with R&D and stakeholders on innovation projects, utilising cutting-edge product management methodologies to expedite time-to-market for new products and enhancements ensure our products are fit-for-purpose.
  • Launch new products internally and externally closely aligned with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of current and future customer needs and industry trends.
  • Evaluate the product portfolio based on KPI's taking proactive measures to address areas needing improvement to enhance performance.
  • Initiate and coordinate the end-of-life process for products with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Proactively assess and mitigate risks associated team activities.
Team Leadership:
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive culture within the Global Solutions team by collaborating closely with peers, encouraging open, trustful, and transparent communication, thereby cultivating a professional, innovative, and fun environment.
  • Ensure close collaboration and consistent communication within the department and with all stakeholders within the TOMRA Food organisation.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to product managers, guiding them towards achieving team objectives and nurturing the professional development of the team members.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team skills and methodologies.
  • Promote a “Safety first” culture throughout the company, our customers, and our industry.
QualificationsAbout You:
  • Master's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in product management, business development or project management with a technology background.
  • An industry background with B2B experience, with experience in the food industry being a plus.
  • Proven people leadership skills with a focus on team development.
  • Deep understanding of product management methodologies.
  • Passion for solving customer problems, with experience conducting analysis using various methodologies deriving insights from data.
  • Proficiency in commercial analysis and business case development.
  • Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain key internal and external relationships, along with informal networks.
  • Strong coaching aptitude in product management tasks and methods.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail.
  • International experience, with a willingness to travel.
