The roleWe are looking for a Product Expert who will be a driving force behind our newest products. You will bridge the gaps between the customer and our product. You collaborate with Product and Engineering as our customers’ advocate, ensuring through data-driven insights that Rydoo meets or exceeds customer expectations. At the same time, you communicate with and educate other people at Rydoo about relevant product updates and changes, which enables them to deliver the best-in-class service.Your responsibilities include
  • You build and sustain deep product knowledge
  • Drive our new products' successes, such as Rydoo Cards, by facilitating internal enablement, ensuring widespread customer adoption, aiding clients in implementation, and providing strategic guidance for refining the product, based on valuable customer feedback.
  • You’ll work closely with Product & Engineering to understand how new and existing features help solve customer’s problems.
  • You co-host customer calls for research and discovery purposes
  • You communicate, document, and organize knowledge about product releases, updates, and other changes in a digestible and structured way
  • You work closely with our Customer Success and other teams to understand the customer's and prospect’s perspectives and needs. You help consolidate this knowledge towards other teams such as Product, Engineering, Marketing & Sales.
  • You’ll join customer calls and bring confidence, as well as your finance and accounting acumen to the table when it comes to domain-specific topics.
  • You are considered a key stakeholder in process improvement projects by collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Product Operations.
Requirements
  • You have a degree in business, finance or economics
  • A true passion for technology and solving user needs.
  • You have 2+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally with accounting, finance or SaaS experience.
  • You work independently, have the ability to learn quickly, are comfortable with frequent context-switching and are resourceful when it comes to problem-solving
  • You have very good written expression and strong communication skills (e.g., ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences, ability to distill key pieces of information into a summarized update, etc.)
  • Open to feedback, on which you generate new ideas, iterate and synthesize at the right moment
  • Ideally, you have previous experience in a customer-facing role
  • Nice to have: understanding of Finance IT systems (i.e. SAP, Netsuite, Dynamics 365, Payroll systems)
What a potential week in the life looks like for a Product Expert
  • Support a client in their Rydoo Cards onboarding: setting up an account and configuring their settings
  • Answer client questions about Rydoo Cards via e-mail
  • A CSM colleague has a client who is expanding to a new country and in this country, there are some specific requirements. The client is wondering how to get specific expense data from Rydoo and how this expense data will be booked in the client's internal accounting tool. Your CSM colleague has asked you to join their client call to find a solution together.
  • Bi-weekly meeting with all product managers where you discuss the customer feedback that has come in and whether these are priorities on our product roadmap. In this meeting, you give input about the feedback you’ve heard from clients and/or via CSM.
  • A new feature is available in Rydoo. You’ve heard from the CSM team that there are quite some questions about this new feature. You work with the responsible product manager to create a FAQ about the new feature and share your findings with the wider team (written documentation and/ or via hosting a webinar).
