Scale is designed to help start-ups to accelerate their business growth. Through a 10 week programme held twice a year, we help B2B Tech start-ups, active in a specific industry, to scale by giving them access to our corporate network and our expertise in this domain via hands-on masterclasses, 1-1 mentoring and networking opportunitiesWhat you’ll do:Get firsthand insights into the fascinating world of startups, focusing on a specific industry;Support our young startup team in market research and trends analysis on the evolving technology market in Europe (and global);Startup scouting through online available databases and by use of our external scouting tool (you will be a direct contact person for the external scouting team, giving them instructions);Reach out directly to startups and participate in the selection interviews (understanding their USP, business model and technology to further explain it internally);Brainstorming and content determination linked to masterclasses, workshops and events;Support the team in preparing and facilitating (pitch and networking) events, workshops, mentor sessions and social media campaigns, as well as documents (presentation decks, contact list, tracking lists, project management tools etc) for internal and external stakeholders;Build and maintain strong relationships with selected start-ups;Brainstorm, idea sharing and content collection linked to the Alumni community (virtual events, relevant readings, communication, etc.);Assist on Corporate Venturing projects, helping our larger clients in their startup journey.What you are:Current enrollment in your final Master year in an economics or business management programme;Very good English, MS Office and G Suite skills;You’re available for at least three months and at least four days per weekKeen interest in start-ups and/or technology;Desire to help start-ups with their journey to success;Ability to work within a team structure while having fun;Strengths that include diligence and analytical thinking;Self-motivated and driven; proven to work independently and prioritize workAttention to detail, diligent & thoroughness.Not afraid to think outside the box and take initiative;High degree of responsibility and flexibility.What you’ll getThis is an unpaid internship, but you’ll receive a daily allowance ;To be part of a company with an international network of expert teams seeking the best solutions for national and international clients;Fully understand how PwC Belgium helps startups to accelerateAccess to knowledge linked to masterclasses/ workshops and get firsthand insights into the fascinating world of start-ups, focusing on a specific industry.What we offerInvaluable professional experience in the ‘best business school in the world’;Continuous learning with classroom training (both technical and soft skills) in Belgium;A workspace where everyone feels respected, valued and free to be themselves;Inspiring and awesome colleagues;Team events such as Last Friday drinks, team-building days and celebrations, as well as time spent on community days and charity activities;Forward-looking and very accessible leadership hosting inspirational lunches;A flexible working schedule including homeworking;And much more!Looking for an internship where you’ll really make a difference?
