:We are seeking a motivated EHS Advisor to support the Safety Manager on a major pharmaceutical construction project in Belgium. Assist Safety Manager with daily EHS activities and site inspections
Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for construction workers
Monitor contractor compliance with EHS procedures and regulations
Prepare and maintain safety documentation and incident reports
Support risk assessment and method statement reviews
Coordinate safety training programs and certification tracking
Assist with permit-to-work system administration
Conduct routine safety audits and inspections
Investigate minor incidents and near-misses under supervision
Maintain EHS statistics and reporting dashboards
Support emergency response procedures and drills
Liaise with contractors on EHS performance improvements
Ensure compliance with Belgian safety regulations and pharmaceutical standards
Assist with environmental monitoring and waste management oversight
:
2-3 years minimum EHS experience in construction or industrial environment
Relevant EHS qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations
Understanding of health and safety legislation
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proficient in MS Office suite and EHS management software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Fluent English required; French/Dutch language skills advantageous
Valid EU work authorization
Degree/Diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field
Knowledge of GMP and validation safety requirements
Experience with safety management systems
