Join our expanding AWS services team and play a pivotal role in driving our growth and solidifying our position as a leading global AWS Services partner.Your RoleAs an AWS Technical Consultant, you'll lead and deliver complex, large-scale AWS projects while mentoring and supporting your colleagues. You'll engage directly with customers to provide technical consultancy, from pre-sales design to implementation and post-sales support.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery:
  • Lead or collaborate on projects to analyze customer requirements, propose innovative solutions, and execute implementation.
  • Oversee technical aspects, ensuring quality, consistency, and risk mitigation.
  • Engage with key AWS vendor programs (OLA, MAP, WAFR).
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation.
  • Conduct comprehensive handovers to support teams.
  • Provide exceptional technical support and leadership in customer engagements and workshops.
Pre-Sales & Services Development:
  • Lead customer scoping and workshops, contributing significantly to proposals and Statements of Work.
  • Identify and drive additional service and sales opportunities.
  • Support regional AWS service strategies, enhancing our offerings and market presence.
  • Collaborate with internal experts and thought leaders to ensure continuous innovation and growth.
Personal Development:
  • Actively contribute to our regional AWS technical community.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships internally and with channel partners.
  • Continuously update technical skills, certifications, and consultative abilities.
  • Stay ahead by exploring emerging technologies and market trends.
Qualifications & Experience
  • AWS Professional/Specialty Certification.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience managing complex AWS cloud environments.
  • Proficiency with AWS programs: OLA, MAP, WAFR.
  • Solid experience in Compute Services (EC2, Containers, Serverless), Observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus, DataDog), CI/CD (CodePipeline, Jenkins), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), Containers/Orchestration (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes), Networking/VPCs, AI/ML, and Cloud Migrations (VMware, Azure).
Skills & Characteristics
  • 5+ years of technical consulting experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication in English and Dutch (French is a plus).
  • Influential, diplomatic, and proactive with a mature and flexible approach.
  • Independent yet collaborative, capable of managing teams on complex projects.
  • Strong industry network and subject matter expertise.
  • Willingness to travel and go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations.
