- Thee QA coordinator is part of the local QA team and is also the back-up in case of absence of the QA Manager;
- You are the voice of quality on the shopfloor and also respect and promote people safety standards and support the QA manager in crisis management;
- You drive change within the production area to achieve improved quality standards and investigation of non-conformances and complaints. Improvement areas may be identified using trend analysis and statistical data, defined and followed up via project management resulting in creation of concrete action plans;
- Supporting improvements of IBC system and help maintain the Quality Documentation System (QDS);
- Aim for the highest service and provide expert advice to customers (e.g. questionnaires, specifications);
- Supervise the correct approval of labels and artwork in the global QDS;
- Drive the implementation of customer requirements into BC quality systems by analyzing customer inquiries to identify recurring questions/topics/issue and areas where customer service can be improved;
- QC of incoming goods, CCP's, process parameters. Act as a primary point of contact for the shop floor, proactively supporting the factory and other functions to achieve compliance with the required standards;
- Initiate and participate in quality related improvement and problem solving, food safety teams using root cause problem solving tools such as 5-why, Ishikawa analysis to non-conformance and complaints. You lead with continuous improvement on the shopfloor, looking at Go4Zero;
- Supplier technical point of contact: Ensure all information is updated in time and archived. You are the owner of the process for supplier complaints. Also coordination with the external labs;
- Ownership in improvement projects: Via projects with tests on the shopfloor you require knowledge of the products & processes. This way you implement improvement, enrol the QA strategy and support the factory and other functions to achieve compliance with the required standards.
- 2+ years experience in a quality or food safety related function with a deep understanding of Food Safety, HACCP, GMP and problem solving principles;
- Experience in project management, Regulatory affairs;
- Experience with GFSI audits (FSSC22000), sustainability (RSPO, UTZ, FT) and religious audits (Kosher, Halal);
- Bachelor or Master in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent;
- Languages: Dutch, French and English.
