We are seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our Thrombosis Business Unit in BELux.In this dynamic and strategic role, you will play a pivotal part in improving patient outcomes while achieving ambitious sales and business objectives. If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting and are motivated by the opportunity to make a difference for patients, we want to hear from you.We are expecting from you to be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital pharmacists, procurement teams, and targeted HCPs (e.g., oncologists).Your primary focus will be on approximately 20 key accounts, with the top 5 as your highest priority.Your role in a snapshot - Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute account-specific strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives, primarily within hospitals and hospital clusters.
- Business Development: Drive the growth of our Thrombosis portfolio through contract negotiations, tender management, and identifying new business opportunities. Build and nurture relationships to maximize sales and market presence.
- Market Insights: Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Share actionable insights and collaborate with internal teams to adapt strategies effectively and overcome regional challenges.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for prescribers, influencers, and decision-makers in your territory. Build and maintain productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure sustainable sales growth.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze regional sales data, prioritize resources, and execute activities to maximize growth potential.
- Collaborative Leadership: Shape pre-tender strategies, manage contracts and tenders, and work cross-functionally to deliver business outcomes in the short, medium, and long term.
- Lead pre-tender shaping and tender management activities.
- Train or support the training of HCPs on the Thrombosis portfolio.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, medical, market access, and other internal teams to align strategies and achieve business goals.
- Ensure compliance with LEO's ethical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- An academic degree in life sciences, business, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical hospital sales and tender management.
- Proven success in a commercial, entrepreneurial environnement.
- Strong relationships with KEEs and targeted HCPs in the Thrombosis therapeutic area.
- High social competence, teamwork skills, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in Dutch and French (spoken and written) and good proficiency in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, with the ability to analyze and utilize data effectively.
