All over the world, Advanced Refractories BU employees partner closely with our customers to deliver breakthrough products and solutions.To support our growth, we are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor.Purpose of the roleThe Maintenance Supervisor is in charge of coordinating all the installation and maintenance. You manage teams made up of operators who execute tasks according to the projects' requirements. And, you also maintain equipment.Your main responsibilities
Work in accordance with Vesuvius and our customer HSE requirements.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns
Ensure routine/preventive maintenance of equipment to guarantee satisfactory operation.
Monitor equipment use and installation by subcontractor
Provide daily report to Vesuvius and customer on equipment activity/use.
Provide training to new operators as required
Maintain maintenance logs/records.
Maintain adequate stocks of spare parts on site/available.
Liaise with Mechatronics and M&T for any equipment modifications/improvements.
Maintain corporate governance and compliance
Requirements
Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
min. 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in an industrial sector (ideally in the steel industry)
Fluent in English + ideally French and Flemish (not mandatory if perfect command of English)
