Job Description:Are you a professional seeking a new challenge in a dynamic and fast developing business? By joining us in Diegem, Belgium as Digital Sales Engineer, you will become part of the Global Sales team. #LI-HybridThis role is essential to develop, maintain and improve direct customer contacts and relationships in line with the defined "Go to Market" philosophy. Through engaging with our customers via digital and remote sales tools out of office and working with other Sales Engineers in the team to deliver the company's ambitious growth targets, you will support customers that do not require periodic face to face contact or prefer to interact through integrated digital platforms. Focus is on selling and promoting products and services, concepts and solutions as offered by the Final Control Business Unit and other strategically defined Emerson business units.Applications are welcome!   • Support of an existing customer base
  • Establishing, expanding and acquiring new customers as the first point of contact for comprehensive customer support
  • Regular support and advice for technical and commercial contacts
  • Active offer tracking and project follow-up
  • Preparing customer inquiries for processing by the internal sales team
  • Monitoring and reporting of customer-specific key figures
  • Development and maintenance of networks

You use customer insights to drive and guide the development of new offerings.You create teamwork allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Commercial or technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven sales / business development experience in a commercial role
  • Affinity towards technology
  • CRM & MS Office tools
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch/ Flemish language
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Matrix organization experience
  • Experience in industrial automation environment; with a good knowledge of similar technical products (e.g. flow control, pressure management, valves, actuators, regulators) and understanding of similar industries (e.g. chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, power, life science)
  • Interest in energy efficiency and sustainability
