The internship will commence in September - October with a minimum of 12 weeks.You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field for which you are looking for a fulltime internship.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are what describe you, together with detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
You have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information and are a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Previous HR-related internship or coursework is a plus but not required.As an HR Business Partner Intern at the headquarters of IKEA Belgium, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of Human Resources.
This internship is designed to provide you with exposure to various HR aspects, including employee relations and HR project management.
You will work closely with our HR team and business leaders to support the HR needs of our organization.
We offer you mentorship and guidance from experienced HR professionals and opportunities for professional development and networking.In addition you:
- Have a strong knowledge of English
- Speak Dutch or French
- Are able to work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint…) - Other digital skills are a plus.

- Support HR team in the daily tasks (more operational aspects)
- Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, learning offer development and performance appraisal processes.
- Assist in maintaining HR records and databases.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide basic HR-related guidance.
- Participate in HR meetings and contribute to HR-related presentations and reports.
